Bevor man den westlichsten Festlandspunkt Norwegens erreicht, kommt man durch das Städtchen Selje.
Before reaching Norway's westernmost continental place, you pass the village Selje.
Von dort geht es entlang des Vanylvsfjorden...
From there you drive along Vanylvsfjorden....
... bis man zum Schluß links abbiegt in eine kurze rauhe Gebirgsstraße, die geradewegs zum Vestkapp führt.
... until you finally have to turn left into a short rough mountain road which leads directly to the Vestkapp.
Wenn das Wetter mitmacht, dann hat man von hier eine herrliche Rundumsicht.
If the weather is fine you enjoy a great panoramic view.
Außerdem ist das Vestkapp bei weitem nicht so überlaufen wie das Nordkapp, der nördlichste Punkt Norwegens.
The Vestkapp attracts much less tourists than the Nordkapp (North Cape), the northernmost point of Norway.
Trotzdem lohnt sich der Abstecher auf jeden Fall.
Nevertheless it's worth the trip.
Der südlichste Punkt Norwegens ist übrigens Lindesnes Fyr.
By the way, the southernmost point of Norway is Lindesnes Fyr.
